WHY INNBASE EXISTS

Hospitality is personal.
The work should feel that way.

We’re building for the people who keep the lights on, the guests comfortable, and the business moving.

Here’s where we started
Sunlight falling across a warmly furnished boutique hotel roomA GREAT STAY HAS A LOT GOING ON BEHIND IT.

THE PROBLEM WE COULDN’T IGNORE

“What happened
last night?”

Three people. Three answers. Each one holding a different piece of the same story.

A hotel generates information with every booking, every meal, every payment, and every shift. Too often, that information ends up scattered across notebooks, spreadsheets, and conversations.

Innbase brings the records together. So an owner can understand the business, a manager can explain a variance, and a team can hand over without starting from scratch.

That’s the work we believe is worth doing.

BUILT IN NIGERIA. BUILT FOR REALITY.

The phone rings.
The guest pays cash.
The system should keep up.

We’re designing around the way hospitality actually works here: phone bookings, transfers, cash payments, busy handovers, and owners checking in from home.

01

The phone booking

No portal, no app — just a call.Innbase logs it the same way it logs everything else, so it's never a gap in the record.

02

The cash payment

Not every guest pays digitally.Cash still gets counted, matched against what was sold, and closed out properly.

03

The WhatsApp confirmation

Bookings move fast, informally. The system keeps up without forcing your front desk to learn a new habit.

04

The owner checking from home

You can't be on every floor, every shift. One place to see what's actually happening right now — not what someone tells you later.

WHAT WE COME BACK TO

A few things
we won’t lose sight of.

Useful software starts with respect for the people using it.

01

Truth over assumptions

If something happened in your hotel, the system should help you trace it — not paper over it with a best guess.

02

Simple enough for the busiest shift

A system isn't useful if your staff can't understand it in the middle of a full house on a Saturday night.

03

Built for reality

Cash, transfers, phone bookings, handovers — the product should reflect how hotels actually operate, not how we wish they did.

04

AI should explain, not invent

AI should help people understand their operation faster — never silently change the underlying truth of what happened.

05

Every number should have a story

A figure on a dashboard should be explainable in one tap — who, what, when, and why it landed where it did.

THE PEOPLE BUILDING IT

Two founders.
One shared conviction.

A system should help you understand your business. Its complexity should never become your team’s problem.

“technology has to align with business reality or it's useless”

Focus product, strategy, and company direction — deciding what Innbase should do, and just as importantly, what it shouldn't.

“A simple solution to a complex problem always shines”

Focus engineering and technical direction — making sure what gets built actually holds up on a busy Friday night.

A NOTE FROM US

Before
you go.

To every hotel owner trying to keep it all together,

We know the feeling of asking “what happened last night?” and getting three different answers from three different people — none of them wrong, exactly, just incomplete.

We’re not here to add another system for your staff to fight with during a busy shift. We’re here because we think that feeling is solvable, and worth solving properly, not with a quick patch.

That means slower, more careful work than a flashy launch would suggest. We’re building this for the long term, one hotel at a time, and we’d rather earn your trust than ask for it upfront.
